Isn't it about time we stopped only seeing suicide as the problem of the individual...? Time we looked at why suicide is the biggest killer of young men in this country
Why is this happening in one of the most prosperous countries in the world? Perhaps we need to start looking at the pressure on people to succeed....on the effect of capitalism, competitiveness, on the importance of appearances.
Of course many seek peace and escape from this life and our culture. This is a powerful communication about the world we have created and offers us the opportunity to listen.
We might hear a fundamental peacefulness that is calling us to stop and simply be present as Nature is.
